What time is check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 4pm and check out at 11am unless previously agreed in writing.

Where is Lake View located?

Lake View is situated in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, just a short stroll from Lake Windermere, shops, restaurants, and popular attractions.

How many guests can Lake View accommodate?

The apartment comfortably sleeps up to 2 guests and is perfect for solo travellers or couples.

What amenities are included?

Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a cosy lounge with a smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and a modern bathroom with a shower and bath. Please note, a washing machine is not provided.

Is there parking available?

Yes – free, private parking is available on-site for one vehicle.

Is the apartment pet-friendly?

No, unfortunately pets are not allowed at this property.

Is the apartment wheelchair accessible?

Please note the apartment is located on an upper floor and is accessed via stairs, so may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.

What are the payment terms for booking?

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the dates. The remaining 50%, along with a £300 refundable security deposit and a £170 cleaning fee, is due 30 days before arrival to confirm the booking.

When is the security deposit refunded?

The £300 security deposit is usually refunded within 7 days of your departure, provided there are no damages or issues. Please ensure you’ve shared your bank account details with us so we can process the refund promptly.

What is your cancellation policy?

Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made 30+ days before arrival. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations made between 29 and 11 days before arrival. No refund will be issued for cancellations made 10 days or less before arrival. For cancellations with less than 30 days’ notice, if any or all of the dates can be rebooked, a pro rata refund will be issued accordingly.
